The Dark December Verison 1

The Dark December was one of my first music projects, staring back in 2021 as a small writing idea, this original version followed a cult having a part at the end of the world and the music was supposed to represent their god, the abitholgon destroying the universe

If only was the first EP I released as The Dark December, at that time I had a mate make the album cover and at the time I really didnt know what AI art was so I had no idea lol, I'd say it's some okay noisy ambient music.

Literally just a couple days after I released my second EP, it was my self titled and is probably my favourite album of Version 1 Dark December, with "A Fox's Head On My Dinner Plate being a favourite

Oh boy Hisashi 83, definately the most insensitive thing I've ever made. This album is trying to be about Hisashi Ouchi, the man who was kept alive for 83 days with extreme radiation poisoning, even after his skin was falling off, and how I imagine he felt dying on that hospital bed over and over for 83 days. I think the soundscapes are interesting and a slight improvement on the self titled's, but I feel like I was very stupid for tackling this subject, the last song literally refers to him as a husk like egh

The Dark December Verison 2 / Evelution Dramatica

About a year after my first attempt at the Dark Decemeber I decided I would try it again, and I think to much better results. I replaced a lot of the more lackluster purely digital soundscapes with actual instruments in most cases, mainly my first guitar.

Evelution Dramatics was made when I wasn't sure if I even wanted The Dark December to continue. I think Evelution Dramatic is the first album I was proud of. I like that I tried to introduce vocal elements to the Dark Decemebers sounds and I think it really adds in tracks like "Turn to sand", and "Pigs". Both "Void Smell" and "Abandon All Hope ye Who Enter Here" were backing tracks for a game that I never finished called "You're already dead"
